WATCH: Toronto Hockey Fans Sing 'O Canada' Loud and Proud After Monday's Van Attack

Many Torontonians are understandably feeling uneasy after the tragic events of Monday afternoon, when 10 people were killed and 15 others injured after a van driver struck several pedestrians along Yonge Street in the northern section of the city.

Sports has become a distraction and great healer over the years after similar incidents have taken place in many cities worldwide. On Monday night inside the Air Canada Centre before Game 6 of the Maple Leafs-Bruins playoff series, over 18,000 hockey fans showed how strong their city’s spirit is, as they belted out ‘O Canada’ at the top of their lungs. Beautiful!

After the anthem, fans reacted by showing their pride on social media.

The Maple Leafs also got the win, 3-1 over the Bruins, to force a game 7 in Boston on Wednesday. #TorontoStrong
