Every Thursday, Chelsea and I check out one of the places listeners have recommended to us. This week was no different, and we headed out to the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary!
If you’ve never heard of it:
- It was established in 1961.
- It covers 9,000 hectares of wildlife habitats, like mature upland forest, early successional woods, old fields, wetlands and open water.
- There are over 8 kilometers of trails.
- You can see up to 200 types of birds.
