Fresh Laundry: Scooter Braun was scared Justin Bieber would overdose

Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, takes care of tons of celebrities including Ariana Grande and Carly Rae Jepsen. But, the person he was worried for the most was Justin.

Scooter appeared on the Red Pill Podcast and opened up about a time where Justin’s health and well being were at risk back in 2014.

There was a time when I would go to sleep almost every night — when he had the money to fly away from me — and I was worried every night that I was going to lose him. I thought he was going to die. I thought he was going to sleep one night and that he would have so much c**p in his system that he would not wake up the next morning.

In 2014, Justin got a DUI while drag racing in Miami, egged a house that caused over $20,000 in damages and countless other negative actions around Hollywood. His team at the time would continually tell him to go to rehab and he just wouldn’t listen. Justin also wanted to make new music and tour, but his team thought if he did, he would end up overdosing.

Scooter mentioned that since his engagement to Hailey Baldwin, he’s been a changed man.

He used to complain, and he used to fight it and that’s when he got into a dark place, but when he accepted his responsibility and took a hard look at himself and not what everyone was doing, that’s when he owned it and he got healthy.

Back in 2014, I think we all were aware that Justin was a “partier”, but I don’t think anyone realised how much of a problem it really was. Thankfully, Justin had the courage to get clean and it looks like he’s been surrounding himself with good people. Hopefully Justin will be able to keep his life on track and continue to live a sober life.
