Taking 1 or 2 naps a week reduces your risk of heart disease


What’s one thing you used to HATE taking as a kid? NAPS!

Taking a nap used to be a punishment but now that were older and wiser we LOVE taking naps and it’s been linked to help your heart stay healthy.

A new study out of Switzerland found that taking naps is GREAT for your heart.

 People who took one or two naps a week had a lower risk of heart disease and strokes than people who didn’t take any naps.

Researchers say it’s because napping can help to compensate for the lack of sleep you might get at night and can help reduce your stress.

So how long should you nap for? Most experts say 20-minutes is the perfect amount of time.
