On June 14th from 6am until 6pm we will be at the Freshco Parking Lot stuffing a city bus from end to end with non-perishable food items for our local Agape Centre and we need your help!
Freshco has pre-packaged donation bags ready made to help make donating easier. Every donation makes a difference and together we will help fight hunger in our community.
Optimist Club of Cornwall will be onsite for a BBQ.
Here are are some items you can bring there are needed the most:
- Peanut butter
- Canned meats (ham or chicken)
- Rice/Pasta
- Canned vegetables (diced tomatoes, niblet corn (not creamed) are the most preferred)
- Canned soup (cream of tomato, cream of mushroom are appreciated for their versatility)
- Canned Baked Beans
- Canned pasta sauce
- School Snacks (Fruit Cup, Apple Sauce Cups)
- Canned fruit (stick to pears and peaches)
