This is a traveling Antiques and Relics showcase well over 100 items spanning several centuries! Seven of Thomas Edison’s inventions are included. Items depicting the discovery and evolution of recorded sound/music as well as that of the telephone will be displayed. Many forgotten items that were once seen around the homestead will resurface for your viewing pleasure.
None of the items are for sale or for touch but are available for display. To ensure that this is accessible to everyone, there is no admission fee, but rather an opportunity to make cash or card donations after having viewed the exhibition.
Funds will go toward covering costs and then building on the collection. We welcome your impressions of the display and will have a comments book for you to use to express your thoughts. Future plans are in the works to take this exhibition to a local mall, various seniors’ residences, libraries in bordering towns, a Culture Centre, and perhaps local fairs. A local antique dealer saw part of the collection and exclaimed that it was “already an award winning collection.”
