Cornwall, get ready! OHL hockey is coming back to Cornwall!
The Seaway Shootout is bringing two nights of OHL hockey to the Ed Lumley Arena, with the Brampton Steelheads facing off against two Eastern Conference opponents on October 16 and 17. On Friday, October 16, the Steelheads take on the Ottawa 67’s, followed by a Saturday night matchup against the Kingston Frontenacs on October 17.
The Seaway Shootout marks the return of regular season OHL hockey to Cornwall for the first time in decades.
There’s more than just hockey on the schedule! Enjoy a free public skate before Friday night’s game, then come back Saturday for Seaway Hockey Day at the Benson Centre.

Cornwall has a long and proud hockey history as the former home of the Cornwall Royals. The Royals played in the QMJHL from 1969 to 1981 before joining the OHL, winning three Memorial Cup championships during their time in the city in 1972, 1980 and 1981.
The Seaway Shootout will take place at the Ed Lumley Arena inside the Cornwall Civic Complex, a venue with a long history of hosting high-level hockey.
