Belleville, Ontario, May 2, 2018- McDougall Insurance & Financial has partnered with Economical Insurance to host the fifth annual McDougall Family Fund Contest with a grand prize of $5,000 to be awarded to the winner. The contest has started and we are reaching out to any local charity, non-profit organization or community project that enhances the local community. To apply, submit a two minute video explaining the project, how it benefits the community and what your organization would do if you were to win the prize money.
The McDougall Family Fund Contest is a great way to rally up communities for an amazing cause. McDougall Insurance wants to give back to one lucky winner within any of our branch-communities. This is a social media based contest through our Facebook contest page; submissions will be accepted from April 30th-May 14th. From May 15th-18th our judges will select the top 10 finalists, then starting May 21st-May 31st voting will be open to the public to pick the winning community project. The winner of the McDougall Family Fund will be announced June 1st.
Last year’s recipient of the $5000 was Spay Neuter Kingston Initiative. Their organization is helping to shelter and fix our stray animal population in the Kingston area. Previous winners also include: Challenger Baseball, Queen Elizabeth Public School and the Wilno Community Centre. This year’s winner is up to you!
