Kozroots Community Empowerment Projects invites everyone to Lamoureux Park on Saturday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a full day of creativity, wellness, food, garlic, and community connection — three events in one vibrant space on one day in Lamoureux Park on the beautiful waterfront.

Join the Transition Cornwall +  Food Action Group on August 22 for an inspiriting and educational event hosted at the homestead of Bill and Karen Carriere in South Stormont.  Discover the best veggies for tiny yards, how to grow fruit trees in tight spaces, super greens for fall and much more, including self-guided garden and orchard walk and fun activities for kids!

Arts in The Park Featuring local recording band Loose Leaf Company. The band will perform covers of popular songs as well as some of their originals. Arts in the Park is a series of FREE outdoor concerts at the Lions Club Bandshell in Lamoureux Park, during the summer months. Free parking is available at the Cornwall Civic Complex as well as behind the Bandshell. 

Cornwall Waterfest is gearing up for an unforgettable event on August 8th at the Cornwall Canal. Held on the second weekend of August, the Cornwall Waterfest Dragon Boat Festival is a highlight of the summer events in our community.

This is a traveling Antiques and Relics showcase well over 100 items spanning several centuries! Seven of Thomas Edison’s inventions are included. Items depicting the discovery and evolution of recorded sound/music as well as that of the telephone will be displayed. Many forgotten items that were once seen around the homestead will resurface for your viewing pleasure. None of the items are for sale or for touch but are available for display. To ensure that this is accessible to everyone, there is no admission fee.

Laurencrest will be hosting their second annual BBQ fundraiser in support of their youth programs. This event is rain or shine. They will have face painting, lawn games, music & fun! Food & beverages will be available to purchase, donations are welcome. RAIN OR SHINE.

Meet Tobias Maxwell at the Cornwall Square on June 27 from 12pm to 3pm. Tobias Maxwell was born and raised in Cornwall, Canada. He joined the first Canadian Youtheatre company at fifteen and toured the province of Ontario for a summer.

The event invites local artists and community members to set up their easels and paint the picturesque surroundings in the open air.
