    The first United Way Ultimate Burger Battle is coming to Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Cornwall & Akwesasne this September! United Way Centraide SDG is launching its tastiest event of the year. 8 local restaurants and eateries across our region will be serving up their delicious signature Ultimate Burgers, where $2 from every single Ultimate Burger sold is donated to help our communities.

It has been a busy and exciting summer for the SD&G Historical Society and the Cornwall Community Museum as they mark the Museum’s 70th anniversary. From a lively Sock Hop Dance in June to a Kite-Flying event and a Plein Air Artists’ Day in July, the Society and Museum have found creative ways to celebrate seven decades of preserving and sharing the history of Cornwall and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

    Marsha, a happy housewife who loves reading murder mysteries, overhears her husband discussing her upcoming birthday surprise with an interior decorator. Yet, to her ears, it sounds like they’re planning to – GASP! – murder her! Adding to the fray are Marsha’s maid, the maid’s police officer boyfriend, and Marsha’s mother, all of whom she’s convinced are in on it, too.
